Hello! My name is Felipe Viana a Brazilian guy passionate about nature, self-development and body contact which has just started a path on Thai massage with the help of Yeshe community and teachers.
As a beginner, confidence is our first big challenge to achieve. Overcoming the fear of not being good enough and trusting our abilities and techniques learned is the clue. During the course I was amazed on how I feel connected and true to myself learning and practicing Thai massage. I knew inside my heart that was the right place to be.
When I was told about Wibracje Festival and the activities that Yeshe community would perform there, I found it interesting and scaring at same time. Giving treatments for people which were not my friends and fair way from my security zone was a big step. However, with the guide and support from Hania, I Knew that could be a good opportunity to break my “Fear wall’.
Heading to the festival I was feeling butterflies in my belly. Everything was new for me. The place was beautiful with beautiful people. Already from my arrival a great surprise, a strong feeling of community. The Yeshe members were very supportive and helpful.
I felt like home and so happy to share that experience with them.
When my 1st patient came, I was already confident to do the treatment. Seeing how we can help people from relaxing tensions, liberating movements, correcting posture, or just providing warm touches, is truly award and priceless. Not forgetting the feedback and happy faces which are a excellent boost for our confidences.
During my last treatment just before leaving the festival, I received feedback which I will never forget. While I was giving a treatment to one patient, his partner was watching from distance. When we finished, she came and said: “Is clear to see how much passionate you are about your job!” That is true! I love massage!
I’m deeply thankful for all Yeshe members. We were like a family during the festival. Helping and Supporting each other. Also, all the honor and respect to our Yeshe teacher for the kindness to sharing the knowledge with such care and engagement.
Thank you!!
