Yeshe Nuad beginners course consists of as much as 108 hours of intensive practice.
The course gives base for professional practice of Yeshe Nuad body-mind work.
Studying Yeshe Nuad involves not only a solid portion of massage techniques and practice, but also information on how habits and states of mind are reflected at the body level. The participants will hear about the idea of the massage and learn techniques relaxing feet, legs, hips, back and shoulders. Apart from this we will work with energy channels what will create a strong base for development during further courses. The course will also give a great basis for your further development on a professional level.
The course of Yeshe Nuad builds up habit of maintaining healthy posture that allows to give a massage treatments without wearing your own body. Thanks to it, with the time the body awareness grows while the treatments become more and more effortless.
Yeshe Naud beginners course consists of 90 hours , often divided into 3 parts:
PART 1, for many the FIRST MEETING with YESHE NUAD, is designed not only for people who want to treat Yeshe Nuad as his path of professional development, but also for those who generally like massage and would like to learn techniques to give a pleasantly relaxing 2 hour treatment for friends and family.
IN TERMS OF TECHNIQUES, THE COURSE INCLUDES:
=> HOW TO WARM UP THE BODY – a necessary preparation for any intensive body work
=> FOOT MASSAGE – finding acupressure points on the feet
=> RELAXING tired LEGS, stretching tense thighs and calf
=> finding and working with feet points and lines
=> stretching ankle joint and Achilles tendon
=> LEG SEN (“ENERGY”) LINES, how to find and treat them and give relieve to tired legs
=> HIP ACUPRESSURE POINTS and HIP-OPENING techniques
=> BACK MASSAGE – finding energy lines along the spine and relaxing tense shoulders
=> SHOULDER AND SCAPULA RELAXATION TECHNIQUES
=> tense NECK TREATMENT in a comfortable, sitting position
=> AND MOST IMPORTANTLY… learning how to make the receiver relax and feel safe.
PART 2 introduces prone position and includes arm and hand treatments. During the course you will have the chance to deepen your skills and learn further techniques relaxing back, neck, and stretches. Learning how to work in a very effective prone position will give you methods for quick tens back release. We will also work with more subtle yet very important areas like arm and hand massage. In this way your treatments will be able to respond to more needs and bring relief for many different problems.
IN TERMS OF TECHNIQUES, THE COURSE INCLUDES:
=> further HIP and THIGH STRETCHES (passive yoga exercise)
=> TWIST and other spine stretches
=> workong with ENERGY LINES ON the BACK in the prone position
=> RELEASING SHOULDER tensions
=> studying ENERGY LINES on the ARMS
=> WRIST STRETCHES
=> relaxing HAND MASSAGE
=> RELAXING SHOULDERS and NECK in supine position
PART 3 brings a new dimension to our body work. During this course, you will enrich your skills by extremely ergonomic techniques of using forearms and elbows. This will allow you to work deeper and more effortlessly even in case of strong tensions. Working with a sensitive, but very important area of the abdomen, will complement the massage with techniques necessary if we wish to achieve long-lasting results. The ability to combine previously learned techniques into a deeply relaxing and healing treatment will give a good basis for future work and will prepare participants for performing Thai massage Yeshe Nuad on the professional level.
IN TERMS OF TECHNIQUES, THE COURSE INCLUDES:
=> BACK AND HIP RELEASE in a “3/4” position
=> using elbows and forearms
=> ABDOMINAL MASSAGE including working with acupressure points
=> HERBAL COMPRESS treatment
=> relaxing FACE MASSAGE
=> combining the learned techniques into a deeply relaxing and healing treatment
=> treatment space (room) preparation
At the end of the course, we will also learn Thai specialty, which is a MASSAGE with HOT HERBAL COMPRESSES.
After this course, instead of receiving a certificate of participation, we strongly recommend taking part in an exam that will give you a diploma of completion of the 90 hour beginners course.
An exam is a face to face 3-hour meeting with the teacher during which all the details can be fine-tuned and questions asked. It is also a great chance to exchange and receive further indications regarding your strengths and areas you should be careful about.
